So, how do I sign-up?

• Pre-Register for the dip by mail or email.  OR
  
• Register at the Dip site on the day of the event. -but come with all your forms filled out, it will be quicker that way.  
• Review the Steps to Dipping.

How do I raise money for the Kiwanis?

• Print the forms you need from below (also located on our forms page) and start asking friends, co-workers and family to sponsor you. You'll need a minimum of $50.00 donation to dip.
  
• If you raise $60 in donations, you'll receive a free Chilly Dip t-shirt.
• Collecting donations in cash or checks is great! All checks should be made out to Kiwanis of Whitmore Lake Kiwanis.
• Sponsors can also donate on-line at paypal. Please ask them to put your name in the comment field so we know they are pledging you.

• All donations should be turned in at registration on the day of the Dip.  T-shirts can also be picked up and/or purchased at these times.

• Sample Fundraising Letter A sample letter to send to friends, colleagues and family to ask them for donations.
• Pledge Receipts This form contains pledge receipts to give to people for their tax-deductible donation.
• Registration form: This form signs you up to dip!
• Waiver: You know, all the legal stuff that you have to sign before freezing your butt off.  And, if you are under 18, your parents will have to sign this form as well.

What's happening on Chilly Dip Day? - February 9, 2013

• Pick up your dip information at the Chilly Dip site, on Whitmore Lake across from the Post Office on Main Street.  Registration is from 1:00- 1:45 (Dipping begins at 2:00)  While there, turn in your donations, and waiver forms. from the
  
• Get dressed in your costume (if you didn’t come in it already).
• Dip begins at 2:00.  (There will be Washtenaw County Dive Team and First Responders on site.)
• Awards are given around 3:00
• Chili and Hot Chocolate or Coffee are provided free to all dippers. 
• Official Chilly-Dip towels are given to all dippers, but bring one of your own to dry off/warm up with or a robe, as they aren’t very warm.
